Sima has had enough of the nasty child psychologist and the desperate head of the children’s home who keeps presenting him with creepy adoptive couples. Train driver Ilija has had enough too: after all, his third-generation railway family is responsible for 66 deaths on the tracks. The rather bizarre encounter between the two has consequences, because Sima wants to follow in the professional footsteps of his reluctant adoptive father. A pitch-black comedy that truly deserves the name.
The announced visit of actor Lazar Ristovski had to be cancelled for health reasons.

A few actors are determined to create a great film, but in doing so they risk everything and put it all on the line. THE HERD is a satirical comedy about life behind the camera: incurable enthusiasts risk their livelihoods to create a great work of art. The road to the glitz and glamour of the red carpet at the gala premiere is not strewn with roses, but with compromises, struggle and even a pact with the devil if necessary.
Guest: Nikola Kojo (director and lead role)

Post-war Sarajevo. Nadia is a Bosnian Muslim, the child of a divorced couple. Her mother is Serbian and lives in Germany; her Bosnian father is a police officer in Sarajevo. Nadia is supposed to marry a man she neither knows nor loves. She meets Njegoš, a car thief by profession. Is love possible between a young Muslim woman and a Serbian car thief? Unlike “Romeo and Juliet”, the film revolves around whether the two give themselves up on the final stretch.
After the film there was a talk with writer and director Sanja Savić.
A short film by young filmmakers was shown before each screening.
